Tao, From a Dream in a New Country to a Mission for Many
When I arrived in Sweden in 2017, I had the same aspiration as many others: to build a future, contribute to society, and find my place in the workforce.
The journey was not easy. Through learning the language, studying, and working, I experienced firsthand the challenges many immigrants face when trying to enter the labor market.
Over time, I realized that the challenge was much bigger than my own story. Many people have the motivation, skills, and work ethic needed to succeed, but they lack the networks and opportunities to connect with the right employers. At the same time, many businesses struggle to find the right people.
This became especially clear in agriculture, greenhouse cultivation, and food production. I saw companies struggling to recruit reliable workers while many job seekers were looking for a pathway into employment.
That is why TM Connect was founded.
Through our network, we help businesses find employees with the right experience, skills, and commitment. At the same time, we help people discover opportunities to grow and build meaningful careers.
Together, we are building the workforce of the future.

Mattias, after many turns, found the right path
My name is Mattias, and like many others, my path hasn’t been a straight one. I graduated from Uppsala University with a strong desire to contribute to society. But before I found the right place for myself, I tried several different professions across various industries. Each experience gave me new perspectives, new knowledge, and a deeper understanding of people and their needs.
Today I work in the field of security, a profession that requires integrity, analytical skills and a strong sense of responsibility. It is a job I am proud of, and it truly reflects both my strengths and my values.
But what has always driven me the most is the desire to help others. I've always had a heart for people and a belief in their potential. That’s also what led me to co-found TM Connect together with Tao. Together, we share a vision: to create opportunities for more people, to build bridges instead of walls, and to contribute to a society where everyone gets the chance to grow.
My journey shows that it does not matter where you start, as long as you dare to follow your heart. And today, I am grateful to walk this path together with Tao and everyone we meet along the way. Together, we are building a community where everyone can contribute and feel at home.
